About us

I never know what to write about us, I'd copy and paste from someone else's page if I could, but I don't think that would work so well.
We are a family of 5, my beloved hard working husband Chris, myself, Marie, and our three children, Ari, Tell, and Ender.  Um, what else, we eat a Paleo diet plus dairy, I guess more Primal than Paleo, that will come into play often in the blog, as nutrition is one of my obsessions.  I believe it's the way we were designed to eat, whole foods that God created, trying to stay away from anything packaged or processed, for the most part.  We're not going to give up peanut butter, it's just too good.
My goal is to get the farm to a point where it can support our food needs, without putting a lot of money into it. We're also wanting to become financially independent as much as possible so my husband can go part-time and eventually quit his job. Yay for that!
I'll eventually get some pictures up, when I find a time when my kids aren't naked and filthy from playing in the dirt pile.  Oops, I shouldn't have said that, I'm going to get flack from family members who believe no one should know that my kids aren't always dressed to the nine's and clean as a whistle :)  Don't tell DHS.  It's been proven that children who get to play in the dirt have way less allergies and illness than clean city kids! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!

Oh, and for those who wish to contact me, you can email me at isfahelww at windstream dot net.  One of these days I'll get around to putting up a "contact me" form.

Okay, I figure I better put up some pictures before I get in trouble with family members who are annoyed at me for never posting pictures.  Here ya go with your kid fix :)

My kids are angels, when they're sleeping...

Tell playing "you can't take my picture"  I snapped this over my shoulder as he tried to duck behind my back

Ender hugging his favorite cat

My sweet Ari girl, she doesn't take very good pictures, she always puts on this squinty eyed smirk that she thinks is cute...  She takes after her mom I guess, I'm not photogenic even when I'm not trying to look cute :)
